Use Resveratrol Supplements And Don’t Get A Hangover

Drinking wine has been labeled as a healthy habit as red wine in particular contains resveratrol. This magical polyphenol has been labeled as one of the most healthy compounds in the world, and thanks to a rising interest in the medical community, there are literally hundreds of studies being published on a yearly basis, which all are researching the beneficial effects of drinking wine, or using resveratrol supplements.

Many of us know how much alcohol we can drink without having a hangover, or without getting drunk. For most of us, this varies quite a bit, and on occasion we drink way more than we were supposed to, and still see none of the effects the next day. Many of us don’t want to drink wine every day because it is expensive, or we want to be at our best every waking moment of the day.

Red wine generally contains about 1.5mg/ liter of resveratrol. This is 0.0003 ounces per one fluid ounce! Most of the research seems to be conducted with dosages ranging from 100mg daily to 200mg daily, which basically means that you could not drink the amount of wine that would be necessary to get a similar amount of resveratrol.

Even if one would drink 1-3 bottles of wine during the evening (which is very dangerous for the large majority of us, especially women who can handle less alcohol, and would benefit more from resveratrol because of the increased risk of cancer), they would only get 3-5mg of resveratrol which is still just 1/50 of the dosage you would need to get those direct health benefits. The solution? Resveratrol supplements.

When it comes to supplements, they are usually dried and treated in a manner which makes then biologically active. One capsule of resveratrol usually contains 100-200mg of resveratrol which means taking 1-2 capsules daily is enough, and you don’t have to have a hangover every day!
